ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) clothing

The Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani (ARMANI group, whose turnover exceeded 1 bn euro in 2000) is to set up a joint-venture with the clothes manufacturer VESTIMENTA in which he will hold a 60% stake against 40% for his partner. It will manufacture collections for the fashion designer's leading lines.
