17/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by Dutch EPP/ED Bert Doorn on the SLIM initiative aimed at simplifying legislation relating to the internal market, the European Parliament calls on the two co-legislators (Council and EP) to demonstrate the necessary political will so that legislative acts adopted by Community institutions present all the required clarity and simplicity from the outset.
