Speaking to Moratino, Kharazi welcomes any EU initiative for Middle East peace

Teheran, 10/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - Iranian Foreign minister, Kamal Kharazi told the European Union's Special Representative for the Middle East, Miguel Angel Moratinos, after talks in ?Teheran Tuesday evening, that "any European Union initiative that could contribute to establishing a stable peace in the region would be welcome".
