ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) ship building

The Norwegian oil services company AKER MARITIME intends to merge its ship building activities, grouped within AKER YARDS, with those of the diversified Anglo-Norwegian group KVAERNER. To do this, AKER MARITIME presented to the main shareholders of KVAERNER a plan to create a joint venture regrouping the ship yards of the two groups.
