SAir group, REWE and Oppenheim are authorised to jointly take-over LTU (aviation)

Brussels, 21/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the Swiss aviation group SAir Group, the REWE group as well as the private independent German bank Oppenheim to take-over the airline LTU. The operation notified to on 20 November to the Commission, foresees that the 49.9% stake of Sair Group remains unchanged, while the REWE distribution group will take a 40% stake and Oppenheim 10.1% acquired from the family shareholders of LTU and WestLB.
