EIB grants EUR 30 million loan for mine on Atlas

Luxembourg, 20/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank is granting a loan of EUR 30 million to the Managem company in Morocco, for the development of a gold mine located on the west flank of Atlas. The project's promoter is Akka Gold Mining, subsidiary of Managem, which operates gold mines for the production of ingots. The mine should produce 3 tonne of gold per year.
