The British group TESCO has concluded an alliance with the conglomerate SIME DARBY BERHAD that has interests in the most varied sector to develop supermarkets in Malaysia. The two groups will form, to do this, a joint venture named TSM - TESCO STORES MALYSIA that will invest 1.2 billion Ringgits (around EUR 358.3 million) to open around fifteen supermarkets.
