Some new chapters closed on occasion of ministerial negotiating meetings on Tuesday

Brussels, 05/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - Accession negotiations continued on Tuesday, at foreign minister level, with the six applicants of the Luxembourg Group (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovenia, Cyprus), with the following results:

  • Poland closed one additional chapter, "culture and audiovisual policy", which takes the total number of chapters provisionally closed to 13 out of a total of 31;

  • Czech Republic did not close any other chapters; the total number of chapters closed...
