ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

SG - SOCIETE GENERALE and Italian insurance firm SAI - SOCIETA ASSICURATRICE INDUSTRIALE are to create a joint venture for the distribution of asset management products in Italy. Called BANCA SAI, it will be held at 30% by SG and at 70% by SAI. It will distribute in Italy, via 913 SAI agencies, savings products whose management will be entrusted to SOCIETE GENERALE.
