Position of the forthcoming Presidency (Sweden).

Mr. Goran Persson, Prime Minister of Sweden, country that is to take over the Council Presidency on 1 January, explained his position on the future composition of the European Commission as follows: "for now, everyone recognises that there needs to be one Commissioner per country.
