ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) cement

British cement manufacturer BLUE CIRCLE and the French tyre manufacturer MICHELIN are to create a joint venture called SAPPHIRE ENERGY RECOVERY that will transform used tyres into fuel for cement ovens. The financial details of the operation were not disclosed.
