ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

The British pharmaceuticals distribution group ALLIANCE UNICHEM has acquired 25% of HEDEF HOLDINGS AS (turnover EUR 832 million in 1999), the main distributor in Turkey, for the sum of EUR 75 million. The agreement includes a purchase option for an additional 25% to be made within 30 months from now for the sum of EUR 132 million.
