AIR FRANCE is to merge three of its regional companies, namely REGIONAL AIRLINES (FF 1.2 billion in annual turnover), PROTEUS AIRLINES and its subsidiary FLANDRE during summer 2001. The new company, whose name has not been decided, will employ 1,200 and will have a fleet of 80 aircraft. It expects to make a turnover close to FF 2.5 billion in 2001.
