German BASF is soon to acquire 14.2% of the capital of the South Korean petrochemical company HANWHA CHEMICAL for the sum of $114 million. The German plans, moreover, open in 2003 a new isocyanate factory with a 140,000 tonne capacity per year in South Korea.
