Further (150 million euro) loan for reconstruction

Ankara, 06/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Vice-President of the European Investment Bank, Edwald Nowotny, signed a 150 million euro loan to help Turkey undertake priority work of repairing and reconstructing regions devastated by the earthquake of August 1999.. The EIB stipulates that this assistance comes within the framework of the Aid Programme approved by the EIB following the earthquake and with an envelope of 600 million euro over a three-year period.
