The Danish brewer CARLSBERG acquired, for CHF 870 million, FELDSCHLOESSCHEN (turnover of CHF 1.06 billion in 1998/1999), the "drinks" subsidiary of the Swiss group FHH - FELDSCHLOESSCHEN-HUERLIMANN HOLDING, largest brewer in the country with a national market share of 45%.
