Cohn-Bendit favours a Constitution, a second EU Parliamentary House, a Commission that would be European government, with a president elected in the American way

Paris, 06/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - Daniel Cohn-Bendit, a member of the Greens Group at the European Parliament, states in an article published by Le Monde of 4 November entitled Quo vadis Europa?, that Europe must have a Constitution that would "in some ways be a large European book of fundamental rights and values", a Charter that "should be more innovative and bolder than that proposed to date".
