ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) restaurants

The British group GRANADA COMPASS (hotels and restaurants) acquired the Canadian restaurant company BEAVER FOODS (CARA OPERATIONS group; annual turnover of USD 200 million) for CAD 150 million, or around GBP 68 million. Thanks to this operation, GRANADA COMPASS will triple its turnover in Canada and become the county's largest in the school canteen sector.
