The German software publisher SOFTWARE AG will acquire all the shares in SAGA SYSTEMS (turnover of EUR 227 million for the 1999/2000 financial year with 800 employees), its distributor in America, Japan and Israel for USD 360 million. The transaction will be made on the basis of EUR 13.4 per SAGA SYSTEMS share in cash.
