ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The British ICI - IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES will sell the 30% it holds in HICI - HUNTSMAN ICI HOLDINGS, specialised in petrochemical derivatives and white pigments for paper and paint to its American partner HUNTSMAN SPECIALTY CHEMICALS CORPORATION for USD 365 million. ICI will also sell a factory for the production of methanol to the Canadian METHANEX for USD 14 million.
