ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The Belgian TRACTEBEL (French group SUEZ LYONNAISE DES EAUX) will sell create, via the intermediary of its German subsidiary, a joint venture with the German SWS - STADTWERKE SAARBRUCKEN. It will by 51% held by ELECTRABEL and 49% by SWS and will be active in the sale and marketing of electricity, gas and heat. The agreement foresee, among others, that the German subsidiary of ELECTRABEL will tae on the production assets SWS as well as the energy supply contracts.
