Brussels, 28/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by Michael Cashman (ESP, UK) on the proposed Council decision establishing a Community action programme for the fight against discrimination 2001-2006 (see EUROPE of 3 November 1999), the Freedoms and Citizens Rights Committee wanted to widen the scope on implementation of this programme by the inclusion of a series of amendments so as to assure the implementation of Article 13 of the Treaty and to guarantee equal treatment of...
