British RANK has concluded an agreement for the sale of its "leisure" division to a consortium headed by British BOURNE LEISURE (20 holiday villages in the United Kingdom) for a maximum of £700 million. The transaction covers the Butlins holiday camps, the Haven holiday villages, the Warner hotels and the Oasis holiday village, activities that generated a turnover of £419 million in 1999.
