- France: CDF -CHARBONNAGES DE FRANCE has launched a call for tenders for 30% of the capital of SNET - SOCIETE NATIONALE D'ELECTRICITE ET DE THERMIQUE (FF 2.4 bn turnover with a workforce of 1,250), its electricity distribution subsidiary which has a power of 2,600 megawatts. SNET is currently fully controlled by public capital to the tune of 81% for CDF and 19% for EDF - ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE.
