FFPE threatens Commission with legal action against appointment of Mr. Levi to Forward Studies Unit - Commission rejects all accusations of favouritism or of not respecting procedures

Brussels, 02/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Civil Service Federation (FFPE) is calling for the annulment of the appointment of Ricardo Levi to the head of the Economic and Political Council of the European Commission and threatening to take legal action against the Commission if it maintains this appointment. The Commission rejects all accusations of favouritism and states that it followed the required procedures.
