The engineering groups MAYFLOWER and HENLYS will create a joint venture for their activities in the bus sector. Named TRANSBUS INTERNATIONAL, the new company will be 70% held by MAYFLOWER and 30% by HENLYS. The combined activities within this company represent a total profit of around GBP 46 million on the basis of 1999 figures.
