Brussels, 01/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - A World Trade Organisation Panel (WTO) condemned the American safeguard measures against imports of European wheat gluten. The European Commission welcomed the ruling, by inviting Washington to "immediately" lift this measure, under penalty of suspending its concession for American deliveries of maize gluten made in the framework of the agreements from the Uruguay Round.
