The American electricity and energy producers FPL GROUP and ENERGY have announced their merger creating the largest energy producer in the United States with a total value of USD 27 billion. The new entity will have a total turnover of USD 15.2 billion with a total production capacity of 48,000 megawatts and will supply 6.3 million customers.
