SanPaolo IMI and Schroders Groups authorised to buy MWCR

Brussels, 22/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has approved the acquisition of MWCR, active in the field of cash registers and terminals, by SanPaolo IMI and Schroders Plc. This transaction, taking place via the buyers' subsidiaries Nouva Holding Subalpina and MWCR Lux, will not lead to any overlap on the market concerned and creates no competition problems.
