Belgium's SOLVAY and PLASTIC OMNIUM will be creating a 50-50 joint venture to consolidate their automotive fuel systems activities. The new firm is expected to have turnover of EUR 1 billion for 2001 and 3,000 employees in around 30 sites worldwide.
