ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) privatisations

- Sweden: The Swedish Government will be selling at least 20% of the public telecoms group TELIA. This operation, associated with the issue of new TELIA shares, values the group at between SEK 210 and 276 billion. The government will reserve the right to sell another 5% if demand is high. - Italy: The Italian Government intends to sell this year part of its 36% stake in the oil and gas group ENI, an operation from which it hopes to raise around EUR 7 billion.
