ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

CGU, Britain's second largest insurer, has formed a partnership with the bank-insurer BANCAJA, Spain's fourth largest savings bank. Under the agreement, CGU will be acquiring half of ASEVAL, the life insurance subsdiary of the Spanish group, for around GBP 200 million.
