The Sunday Times is reporting that the British group VODAFONE AIRTOUCH is considering selling MANNESMANN's fixed telephony activities, namely the shares held in Germany's ARCOR and Italy's INFOSTRADA, in the context of their merger. The transaction is thought to total GBP 15 billion.
