Voting on agricultural prices for 2000-2001, Parliament voices opposition to a reduction in monthly increments for cereals - The issue of flax and hemp is sent back to committee

Strasbourg, 16/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - With its adoption of the report by German Christian Democrat Elisabeth Jeggle, the European Parliament issued its opinion on agricultural prices for 2000-2001. Confirming the vote by its Committee on Agriculture, Parliament insisted on maintenance of the monthly increments applied to cereal storage at their present levels.
