Brussels, 09/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European People's Party celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration in Brussels, and the Party's President, Wilfried Martens, said on that occasion: "If its results are inspired on the Schuman Declaration, I believe that the current Intergovernmental Conference will be able to provide answers to the new needs of a Union of over 25 members".
