Luxembourg, 04/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Union's statistical office, Eurostat, announced that the seasonally adjusted rate of unemployment in the Euro-zone was 9.4% last March, a drop compared to February (9.5%). One year before (March 1999) it was 10.2%. In the EU as a whole, the rate fell of 8.7% against 8.8% in February.
