Parliament having approved the Council's "common position" without amendments, the directive on electronic commerce is definitively adopted - Fontaine and Bolkestein welcome this success

Brussels, 04/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament approved, on second reading, the Council's "common position" on the directive on electronic trade, following its rapporteur Ana Palacio Vallelersundi (Partido Popular) practically unanimously (496 in favour, none against, 38 abstentions).
