Brussels, 12/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the Spanish map for aid for regional purposes for the period 2000-2006. According to the level set by the Commission, the map covers some 79.2% of the Spanish population, spread as follows: i) 58.4% in regions whose per capita GDP is below 75% of the Community average (Andalusia, Galicia, Castille-Mancha), ii) 20.8% in areas situated in regions with a better economic situation.
