ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) aeronautics

The Japanese heavy engineering firm MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDSUTRIES is negotiating an alliance with the American aircraft manufacturer BOEING in aviation and aeronautics. In addition, according to the Sunday Telegraph, Britain's BAe SYSTEMS is said to have begun negotiations with BOEING in view of a possible merger. The capitalisation of the new entity would be 46 bn euro.
