Brussels, 24/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Following the vote on some 400 amendments, the European Parliaments Constitutional Affairs Committee adopted by 12 votes, against 7 and 4 abstentions, the final report by the Greek Social Democrat Gorgio Dimitrakopoulos and the German Social Democrat Jo Leinen that relates to the concrete proposals made by the European Parliament concerning, notably, the extension of the codecision procedure and the qualified majority votes in the Council.
