ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) brewing

The Belgian brewers CO-BR.HA (BEF 3.33 bn turnover in 1999) has announced the acquisition of all the shares of the Dutch firm DE LEEUW (28 million guilders turnover in 1999 with 800 employees, with 800 sales outlets and a production capacity of 175,000 hectoliters) for an undisclosed amount.
