Commission approves Saint-Gobain's takeover of Maeyer International in the builders merchant sector

Brussels, 24/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the purchase of the British builders merchant group Meyer International plc. by the French firm Saint-Gobain, active in the production, sale and distribution of glass, high performance materials and building materials.
