Brussels, 29/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - ÖVP Member of the EP Ursula Stenzel, rapporteur for Malta's negotiations for EU accession, states in a press release following a visit to Valletta that the Government of Malta has presented a "very ambitious programme" for adoption of the Community acquis. The Austrian MEP, who met Foreign Minister Borg and Labour opposition leader Mr Vella, along with representatives of economic interests, commented: "There is no question of isolating Austria here"....
