EU support for OSCE - Warning over Georgia's territorial integrity

Brussels, 07/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - On 30 December 1999, the Finnish Presidency of the EU Council published the following Statement over Chechnya:

"The European Union strongly supports the demarche of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office made yesterday in Moscow, urging the Russian Government to declare an immediate cease-fire in order to allow the evacuation of the civilian population in Grozny.
