European Commission clarifies expectations of Google in terms of data sharing under DMA

On Thursday 16 April, the European Commission announced that it had sentGoogle its preliminary conclusions in the context of the specification procedure initiated against the company in January (see EUROPE B13795A7) under the Digital Markets Act (DMA). 

The institution would like to see Google comply with the interoperability and data-sharing obligations of its search engine and its integrated artificial intelligence, Gemini.
