5,000 Ukrainian patients evacuated to 22 EU countries thanks to European Civil Protection Mechanism

In a press release published on Thursday 16 April, the European Commission announced that it had coordinated the medical evacuation of more than 5,000 Ukrainian patients to 22 European Union countries. This is the largest medical transfer mission ever carried out through the European Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) since the start of the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
