Formal European Commission investigation targets Snapchat over inadequate protection of minors online

On Thursday, 26 March, the European Commission announced that it had opened a formal investigation into how the platform Snapchat was complying with the provisions concerning the protection of minors online that are set out in the ‘DSA’, the regulation governing digital services.
