Ursula von der Leyen and António Costa to hold talks with Middle East leaders on 9 March

Brussels, 06/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – The President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, have invited Middle East leaders to attend a video conference on Monday 9 March, in view of the rapidly evolving security situation in the region, a spokesperson for the President of the European Council announced, on Friday 6 March.
