EU sanctions six people deemed responsible for destabilising activities

29/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 January, the Council of the EU adopted sanctions against six people deemed responsible for destabilising activities. They are Russian television presenters Dmitry Guberniev, Ekaterina Andreeva and Maria Sittel, ‘propagandist’ Pavel Zarubin, actor and singer Roman Chumakov and Ukrainian-born Russian principal dancer Sergei Polunin.
