Former commissioner Ylva Johansson to chair ‘European Skills High-Level Board’

29/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 January, the European Commission appointed former Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson to chair the ‘European Skills High-Level Board’. The Swede has most recently been responsible for overseeing the return of Ukrainian refugees to their country after the war.
